The Loyalty Plan

The Lloydshare Loyalty Repayment Plan is a unique loyalty reward product, and it’s really simple. Subject to our Terms & Conditions, Plan-Holders can claim a loyalty reward on maturity of their Plan Certificate. Our first plans matured in 2015 and Lloydshare has never failed to pay an eligible claim. We offer 15, 20 or 25 year loyalty reward plans linked to your Club Membership. For those over the age of 65 years, 10-year plans are exclusively available. Lloydshare Loyalty Repayment Plans may be taken over by beneficiaries subject to Terms & Conditions.

How Lloydshare Benefits Vacation Ownership [Timeshare] Members

 The Lloydshare Loyalty Repayment Plan complements the decision each Vacation Owner has taken to invest in securing those much-needed vacations each year. Lloydshare provides a direct inducement to get the most out of that Timeshare investment year after year. Specifically, it provides the opportunity to claim back the entire cost of the linked Club Membership.

Liaison with Lloydshare is key throughout the lifetime of the Plan, and the regular communication can provide additional benefits.  As well as assisting with our marketing, the sharing of de-personalized information through our survey facilities provides a channel for regular independent feedback.  Lloydshare can use this not only in our consultancy work, but to encourage improvements based on real-time consumer experience.

Exclusive and high-quality Vacation Clubs are amongst the world’s most popular holiday choices and can prove to be fabulous value. However, it is inherently a long-term investment, often representing a significant commitment.

No matter how luxurious the facilities, many resorts find that individuals lose their enthusiasm as years pass. As members age, their personal circumstances and priorities may change. There is a business need to retain members that return reliably each year, paying the maintenance fees that continue to fund growth and investment, as well as supporting the local economy and levels of employment. By offering a product that encourages and rewards members for loyalty, each Lloydshare sale has a direct benefit for host resorts.

For members at our Partner Resorts, enrollment with Lloydshare is available at special rates:

25 Year Plans – 5.75% of your club membership cost
20 Year Plans – 8.7% of your club membership cost
15 Year Plans – 16% of your club membership cost
10 Year Plans – [available only to persons over 65 years of age]–30% of your club membership cost

Freestanding Lloydshare Plans

The unique Lloydshare Loyalty Plan can be matched against many kinds of Vacation Ownership products.   If you own a timeshare at a Latin American/Caribbean resort that is not in active partnership with Lloydshare, a Loyalty Plan may still be available to you within 90 days of purchase.  Please note that the following percentage fees apply to non-partner resort members.

20 Year Plans – 16% of your club membership cost
15 Year Plans – 30% of your club membership cost
10 Year Plans [available only to persons over 65 years of age]– 45% of your club membership cost

I’m new to Lloydshare. What’s the enrollment process?

When the Lloydshare Customer Service Team is notified of a new Plan-Holder, we are always provided with your home address and your email address. The first thing that happens is that you’ll receive an email asking you to confirm details of the other personal data we’ll be keeping, such as your contact phone number.

Lloydshare takes very seriously your data protection, and it is important to ensure the data we hold is accurate right from the start. You should respond confirming the data details as soon as you can, in order to ensure you are successfully enrolled without delay. This is your opportunity to change the email address we have been given if you want to register a different email address as your primary means of contact with Lloydshare. Normally there is one email address used, even if there is more than one Plan-Holder. A change of email can be arranged at this stage without your having to go through the strict security process that is applied if you change it after being enrolled. Once you have replied to the data check email, you should receive a Welcome Pack by mail within one calendar month. Your Certificate will be included.

If you are a Plan-Holder that purchased directly from Lloydshare please note that if we don’t hear back to our data check email within one month, we will proceed to send your Certificate to your home address without further delay. Therefore, if you have not received a Plan Certificate within 2 months of becoming a Lloydshare Plan-Holder, you should report this to the Lloydshare Customer Service Team immediately. It is always less complicated, however, if you return a fully completed data check form.

In your Welcome Pack you will also receive a password for entry to the Plan-Holders section of this website. In order to access the Plan-Holder section you will also need to enter your email address that was registered with Lloydshare at the enrollment stage.

How exactly do I register a claim for the payout?

The Claims Process is shown on the reverse of your personal Certificate. Once the maturity date has passed, simply mail us at our US Forwarding Address, a letter stating that you wish to register your claim, enclosing copies of ID for all Plan-Holders and your original Certificate. All Plan-Holders should sign the letter to make the claim. The claim must be registered within the timeframe stated on your Certificate.

Lloydshare offers a cost-free Beneficiary option. How does that work?

Many nominated beneficiaries wrongly assume that our product is a type of life assurance that guarantees an automatic payout on the death of the Plan-Holder/s. However, as our Plan-Holders will understand from their Certificates, the Lloydshare Loyalty Repayment Plan [formally termed the Lloydshare Deferred Annuity] is a loyalty repayment product linked to Vacation Ownership at one of our partner resorts. The Plan is designed to run alongside a continuous active resort membership for the entire duration of the Lloydshare Plan.

Our Plan-Holders are able to nominate beneficiaries who can, in the event of the death of all Plan-Holders, register with us to take over the Plan, and it is expected that the beneficiary would take over the unused years at the linked Vacation Club. Nominated beneficiaries must be living individuals. Neither trusts nor estates can be treated as nominated beneficiaries as such entities are not able in any active sense to take over the Loyalty Plan.

Lloydshare’s Terms & Conditions will continue to apply. Please also note that registered beneficiaries cannot nominate beneficiaries of their own. Nominated beneficiaries must register within one year of the death of the last Plan-Holder.

Is there publicity when I get my payout?

Lloydshare does not share your payout details with any party unless required to do so for legal reasons or in cases where Plan-Holders have indicated they are happy to share information in the form of reviews/testimonials.
